WILLOCELL
Willocell® is a sterile, absorbable, biocompatible, regenerated oxidised cellulose haemostatic gauze designed to better control bleeding in capillaries, veins and small arteries and used when ligation or other conventional methods are ineffective or impractical. In endoscopic procedures, Willocell® Standard, Willocell® Knit, Willocell® Fibril haemostats cut to size can be used. Willocell® provides fast and effective local haemostasis in 1 to 3 minutes. Willocell® has a significant antibacterial action after 1 to 24 hours, thanks to its pH of 2.2, helps accelerate biochemical reactions, promotes healing, reduces blood loss and minimises complications that may occur before and during the early stages of surgery.
