The surgical Incise iodine is a sterile, adhesive, transparent, antistatic, non-glare incision drape in polyurethane film which makes clearly visible the incision site. Incise Iodine provides continuous antimicrobial broad-spectrum action by the gradual release of iodine molecules for over 7 hours of application. The film is liquid and bacteria proof (also in dry conditions) but it is permeable to gases and water vapour, protecting the area from contamination and leaves the skin to breathe, thereby preventing the accumulation of moisture under the drape. A critical aspect of all surgical interventions is the prevention of infections; Incise Iodine reduces the entry of microorganisms into the wound and prevents lateral migration of bacteria into the wound itself. Studies on the effectiveness of Incise Iodine on Staphylococcus Aureus (11OOO CFU/ml) of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa (1O2OO CFU/ml) and Candida Albicans (11OOO CFU/ml), showed a total reduction of bacteria. Incise Iodine is latex free
